Beatview connects to Gemini through its MCP server at https://platform.beatview.ai/mcp, on every Beatview plan. Once you approve the connection, Gemini can open and publish jobs, list and compare candidates with their AI resume and interview scores, show the pipeline and — after you confirm — move candidates or send AI interview invitations. Screening and interviews keep running inside Beatview whether or not the chat is open.
Connect Beatview to Gemini in four steps

Open Connected Apps
On gemini.google.com, click Settings → Connected Apps (or Personal Intelligence → Connected Apps). - 02

Add a custom app
Under “Custom apps”, click Add a custom app and paste https://platform.beatview.ai/mcp. - 03

Connect and approve
Click Next, sign in to Beatview and approve access when prompted. - 04

Mention it in a prompt
Type @ and pick Beatview to make sure Gemini uses it — in chat or in a Gemini Spark task.
What Gemini needs
These requirements are set by Google, not Beatview. On the Beatview side, the MCP server is included on every plan.

- Google currently offers custom apps to people aged 18 or over in the US, signed in with a personal Google Account — not a work or school account.
- Keep Activity must be on, and the feature is English-only for now.
- You connect the app in the Gemini web app; once connected it works in the Gemini web and mobile apps.
- Google says Gemini asks for manual confirmation before any write action.

Not yet. Google currently makes custom apps available only to personal Google Accounts in the US, for people aged 18 or over. Check Google’s help article for changes.
Yes. Once Beatview is connected as a custom app, you can use it in Gemini chat and in Gemini Spark tasks, on the web and in the mobile app.
No. Recordings are never shared with Gemini. It receives Beatview’s assessment of each answer and a link that opens the recording inside Beatview for signed-in members of your account.
